台灣東淩股份有限公司成立於西元 1988 年,於台北創業初期,思索到唯有優良的品牌圖像定位,才能進而展露商品的生命力與價值。在一次因緣際會下,公司接獲一筆美國波士頓客戶的洗澡玩具訂單,內容有五種造型動物玩偶,此時便突發奇想,認為何不嘗試由動物的造型中,去做為設計卡通圖像的靈感與方向。爾後,經過多次的諮詢與市調後,認為剛初生的鴨子模樣是最惹人喜愛,又是黃澄澄的顏色,最容易表達出一種「擁有的幸福感」。於是經過公司設計部同仁不斷討論後,決定將鴨子實體化,轉為具人性化、有個性、超可愛的模樣,來延伸商品的生命力。黃色小鴨的圖案經過多次修改後,於 1990 年底定稿,並以鴨子剛初生時的叫聲「漂~漂~」取名為「 Piyo Piyo 」的英文名。於西元 1991 年正式提出商標註冊,從此黃色小鴨 Piyo Piyo 就此誕生。
 
Tung Ling Industrial Co., Ltd was established in 1988 in Taiwan with the strong belief that we needed a superior brand through which to express the values of our company and products. It was a coincidence, then, when the Taiwan office received an order for custom bath toys, which eventually led to the inspiration behind our first brand. Our research indicated that a cute, yellow, newborn duckling appealed to people. Thus, in 1991 Tung Ling registered their trademark as a little yellow duck named Piyo Piyo, after the sound a duckling makes. This brand became the foundation for years to come.
 
 
 
黃色小鴨 Piyo Piyo 初期的開發商品形形色色,非常的豐富,包括毛絨玩偶、書包、背袋、陶瓷杯、碗盤、木製品、生活雜貨等等。經過不斷的研發、設計,漸漸的在禮品及生活雜貨市場打開黃色小鴨 Piyo Piyo 品牌的知名度。讓這個可愛、溫馨、有生命力的商品系列,終於被年輕的消費者接受,甚至被進一步加以收藏。然而於 1989 年代,台灣面臨新臺幣不斷的升值,加上廠商不斷的外移,進而影響到禮品市場的消費力,導致市場呈現減弱的現象。於是 1993 年開始,公司尋求新的對應政策,決定全力轉型為嬰童用品行業。考量原有的黃色小鴨消費群已長大結婚成為年輕的媽媽,藉此更可讓商品年齡層向下探至 0 ~ 4 歲,不但符合嬰童用品行業的市場需求,更可讓日後的市場知名度由嬰童族群擴大至成人族群,創建更強大的品牌市場。
 
By having its own brand, Piyo Piyo was targeting at people aged thirteen to twenty five. We provided a great variety of products including stuffed animals, backpacks, shoulder bags, utensils, and all sorts of daily living products. In addition, Piyo Piyo developed and released themed stationary products, eventually establishing our name and place in the market. However, in 1989, with the inflation of the NT Dollar and rising manufacturing costs, factories began to move out of Taiwan. Faced with rising prices and costs, Tung Ling sought a more stable market. In 1993, the company decided to alter their target audience, and Piyo Piyo became exclusively a line of baby products designed to be popular with both babies and their parents. Thus Piyo Piyo changed into what it is today, a unique brand of exclusive baby products.
 
 
 

當公司全力轉型為嬰童用品時,更率先以「顛覆傳統的商品、注入時尚、流行、安全的概念」來結合禮品設計的元素,不僅鎖定年輕媽媽的消費層,更清楚的詮釋出「黃色小鴨Piyo Piyo」品牌精神,帶給寶寶一個專業、安全、可愛的商品。目前黃色小鴨 Piyo Piyo 主要是發展0 ~ 4歲的嬰幼兒用品與服飾為主,商品皆以自有模具生產製造,因此商品具有獨特性,多年來深受消費者的喜愛。藉由優勢的研發、設計團隊,進行商品的創意、研發、設計、開模、生產和建立自有的零售通路及服務,讓消費者在使用黃色小鴨商品的同時,更能感受到我們的關懷與愛心。

爾後,公司在西元2000年開始進行中國市場的考察與佈局,針對整個中國市場,因時、因人、因地而做出需求性的服務。並於西元2002年7月成立上海台淩嬰童用品有限公司,以專業製造的經驗及行銷通路的建立,展現出黃色小鴨系列商品的在地化及深根計畫的決心。隨著黃色小鴨的知名度漸增,於西元2007年10月成立上海黃色小鴨貿易有限公司,致力經營品牌形象與拓展市場。而為將品牌邁向國際市場,在西元2010年5月於美國洛杉磯成立America Tung Ling CORP.力求建立黃色小鴨 Piyo Piyo 成為未來的國際品牌。身為營運總部的台灣東凌股份有限公司,除了不斷加強商品的研發與設計,更積極經營外銷市場。而上海黃色小鴨貿易有限公司更致力拓展中國嬰童市場。我們的目標是將黃色小鴨Piyo Piyo打造成一個全球知名的國際品牌!面對全球化的市場及價格的競爭,我們將更致力於市場及生產資源的整合,以最專業的態度、不斷的加強商品的研發、設計及強化市場通路的行銷,以提高我們的競爭力。
 
Tung Ling began to look for expansion routes as early as 2000, primarily interested in the Chinese market. We believed that Piyo Piyo could offer a localized and all-encompassing service to any market. In 2002, Tailing Co., Ltd. was established as a distributor and hub for Piyo Piyo in China. As Piyo Piyo became a famous brand in China, Shanghai Yangling Trading Co., Ltd. changed its name to Shanghai Piyopiyo Trading Co., Ltd in 2007. With the success in China, Tung Ling looked to the USA as their next market. America Tung Ling Corp. were established in 2010 in Los Angeles, with the mission to expand the Piyo Piyo brand. It is our goal to make Piyo Piyo into a global brand. For that reason we believe that expansion is necessary into other markets. Tung Ling has a global approach to business and is well-equipped to meet international standards and competition.
 
 
 

未來十年的佈局與目標,更求以擴增文創商品、動漫事業及異業結合為主目標 ,並增加兒童用品系列。藉此擴展大陸市場零售通路、擴大市場消費年齡層、延伸商品系列群。而於 2010 年開始,除了要進入美國市場,我們已成立美國公司,藉此走入國際市場和深耕當地市場,就地做好服務的品質。本公司將更致力拓展生活居家類事業部門,力求將市場再延展至 0-35 歲的年齡層,逐步建立黃色小鴨 Piyo Piyo 成為全方位的國際品牌。

 
Over the next ten years, our goal is to expand our product line, cooperate with the animation industry, and overall improve our offerings to the children’s market. So far we have expanded into China, established a foothold in the USA, extended our product lines, and have the ability to establish ourselves in national and local markets.
